Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6708, an FS-24M "Trainmaster" built by Fairbanks-Morse as number "8699" in August of 1956, rated at 2,400 HP, and renumbered "6708" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of (R to L) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7153 and another "Geep" whose road number is not recorded. Both are EFS-17M road switchers built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7153 was constructed in November of 1957. Oil Power. Here is an original 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Rutherford Heights, Pennsylvania, on 18 November 1967. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2243, #2537, and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. #2243 is an EF-22 built by GM-EMD in May of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #2537 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in February of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Note the presence of "Radio Equipped" labels and the corresponding lack of Train Phone antennae.

Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1457, an EF-15A built by GM-EMD as number "9670" in April of 1949, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and renumbered "1457" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. Partially visible at the right is #2415, the AF-24A built by the American Locomotive Company in September of 1963 and rated at 2,400 horsepower.

Pictured at the left is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4209, an EP-20 built by GM-EMD as number "5849" in August of 1947, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and renumbered "4209" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. At the right are Central Railroad of New Jersey engines #3683 and #3682. Both are GP-40's built by GM-EMD.

In this context, they're rockin' 'n' rollin' with a 14-car passenger train.
