Description:
Built by Alco in December of 1953 as MILW #1896 (serial #80973), it was later renumbered first as MILW 819 and later MILW 854. After only 13 years of service, the switcher was traded in to EMD for a new GP40 in 1966. Specs - 10-AS class, 1000 hp, engien weight of 232,000 lb. Unknown photographer.
